Hi Steema Support:

This is AHA-Computer engineer, Johnson, from Taiwan.
Hope you well & Happy New Year

AHA-Computer help user to order TeeChart Pro 2015 ActiveX 1 Developer License about 2015/6/12.

User’s question/request:

1. User currently uses TeeChart Pro 2015 ActiveX in Visual Studio 2019.
But he found that he could not see the pictures of TeeChart Pro 2015 ActiveX directly in Chrome or Edge.

User would like to ask:
Does TeeChart Pro ActiveX need to upgrade to latest 2022 for support see the pictures directly in Chrome or Edge ?

2. User has downloaded and used TeeChart Pro ActiveX V2022 evaluation version today.
However, the TeeChart item is not seen in the toolbox, and only the word "evaluation version" (on TeeChart) is displayed after the compiler is turned on.
Still, user could not see the pictures of Tee Chart directly on Chrome or Edge.

Please confirm whether the version of TeeChart Pro ActiveX V2022 is support see the pictures directly in Chrome or Edge ?
Or there are other settings needing configure ?

User would like to ask Steema Sales & Support for solutions of his request.
If user satisfied of the solutions, they might order TeeChart Pro ActiveX V2022 strongly.

Thank you very much.

Hello,

I believe we answered this question some days ago by mail.
I'll copy here the reply in case it helps anyone else finding this later.

---

Modern browsers don't allow embedded ActiveX objects in pages.
However, you could generate the Chart server-side export to an image and send that image to the client's browser.
See ChartTypes.htm / ChartTypes.asp to see an example of this.
