TeeChart Pro V2011.04 - Delphi 2010 binary installer failed

Hello.

I just run the Binary version installer of TeeChart Pro V2011.04 (Build 2011.04.41118).

After the installation seems to be complete (progress 100%), I get an message telling "TeeChart files to AUTO install cannot be found".
When I commit this message, the installer told me that installation was successful, but when I start my Delphi 2010 IDE, the packages are not installed.

Note: I have already installed TeeChart Pro V2011.04 for Delphi XE2 on the same system without any issues.

Can you please help me?

Additionally:
1. I now did uninstall my TeeChart Pro for Delphi XE2 and install only for Delphi 2010.
Same issue.
2. I tried this again with the former release TeeChart Pro V2011.03 and this works as expected.

Could you please open your IDE and try to install the packages manually in the "Component/Install Packages..." list?
Just open that list and add the packages browsing to the .bpl(s) in the "Bin" folder of your TeeChart installation.

I added all the 6 BPLs, but then I get some errors about wrong procedures in the DLL and only one package is added (2DclTree2D14Tee9.bpl").
This does not work!

Could you please provide me a fixed binary installer?

I seem to have the same problem. Got the same "TeeChart files to AUTO install cannot be found" message while installing. Then I Removed all (also older) TeeChart instances and reinstalled "TeeChart Pro for RAD XE". Same message during install as before. And when I am opening the C++ Builder project and trying to compile, I get complaints about missing tee915.bpl. Tried to add packages manually but get the same message about duplicate things. Please help.

EDIT: Removed "TeeChart Pro for RAD XE" again and installed "TeeChart 2011 Delphi 2011 (v.2001.03.30407)" and everything works again. What is wrong with the newest version?

We are investigating this and we'll be back asap.
I've reproduced the problem here but I could install the packages manually. In the meanwhile, for those who have problems installing the packages manually, the easier would be to go back to v2011.03.

As an update, we've found the problem in the installers and corrected it. We will check them and hopefully they will be ready to download on Monday or Tuesday.
In the meanwhile, as a workaround, after receiving the "TeeChart files to AUTO install cannot be found" message, let the installation finish. Browse to the installation folder and rename the DelphiX folder to Delphi, just remove the number at the end of that folder name. After it, you should be able to run TeeInstall.exe utility to install the component in the IDE as usually.

Ahhh, No. Trying to install under D2007. Deleted the '11' from the end of Delphi11, an TeeInstall and got...

Error copying files: Origin folder D:\Steema Software\TeeChart 2011 for Delphi 2007\Delphi11\System does not exist.

Same for XE & XE2

We've just corrected the v2011.04 installers. Now they shouldn't give the "TeeChart files to AUTO install cannot be found" problem.
Please, download the v2011.04 installer again from the download area.

Was this a silent update, without even increasing the Build number (it still shows 41118)?
I can see that the size of the installer slightly changed, so I guess it was.

Please consider to increase at least the Build version, to avoid confusion, for you and your customers!

Thanks for your suggestion. We didn't change build number because it just replaced "broken" installers. Anyway, your suggestion seems reasonable to me and will consider it in the future.

I try to install Teechart 2011 for Delphi 2010 and i use the 0.4455.0.0 file number of TeeChart2011Delphi2010.exe. this fail on the copying of Tee914Eval.b in the system directory (98% in progress) with this message "The file ...\Tee914Eval.bpl" could not be opened.

Yhe RAD XE installation fail so. With the same message with Tee915Eval.bpl
But the Delphi 7 and Delphi XE2 are OK.

All these files are downloaded yesterday and have the 0.455.0.0 number.

I'm a little bit confused. Are you downloading the TeeChart VCL evaluation version, build 4455, login into the client area with the evaluation license? When I log into the client area with an evaluation license, I see the v2011.04.41118 builds, I see no 4455 listed.
Could you please confirm from where are you getting these installers so we can check if they're broken?
