Internet Explorer 7 and TeeChart version 5

Post by Ragnar » Mon Oct 16, 2006 5:42 pm

Hello.

I am using TeeChart ActiveX version 5 in a web application. I have been testing the web with IE7 release candidate 1 and can not get it to work! I can open the dialogs but I can not load the chart from vbscript using axChart.Import.LoadFromURL(chartDataUrl)! Please advice!

This is exactly the same issue as what I reported in my post, "Import From URL Breaks With IE7 RC1 Installed". See: http://www.teechart.net/support/viewtopic.php?t=4940

I discovered that the latest version of TeeChart does not have this problem, but I hope that Steema will patch older TeeChart versions with whatever change they made, since this is a critical issue.

Hi

I am using TeeChart 7 ActiveX, and have exactly the same problem with the LoadFromURL function, in the ASP example.

Is there a fix for this problem?

The error message is:

Error code: 87 downloading Chart from URL: http://localhost/TeeChart7/TeeFromWeb.asp

Thanks

James

Ok, by installing the later version of tee chart 7, 7.0.1.2 has fixed the problem.

We are also having this problem. Will there be a patch released in the future? I'd hate to have to put code in that puts up a static chart instead!

Hi,

a new v7.012 version (which supports IE7) has been posted on our web site. For the moment we do not have plans to prepare a v5 version compatible.
