installation problems - Teechart7 for BCB 6

I use BCB 6 SP 4 Professional . I reinstalled clean copy of BCB before
installing TeeChart.
Installation of TeeChart7 without source failed with the following error:

EXCEPTION:
Can't load package
C:\PROGRA~1\STEEMA~1\TEECHA~1\BuilderC6\Bin\DclTee7C6.bpl.
The system cannot find the file specified
--------------------------------------------

I checked and the DclTee7C6.bpl does exist in
C:\PROGRA~1\STEEMA~1\TEECHA~1\BuilderC6\Bin

Hi.

Is the required bpl file in the path specified by the installer ? If yes, have you tried to manually install it in BCB IDE ? This can be done by checking the check box in front of the package.

I did the following:
1. Removed all TeeChart packages
2. Copied all *.bpi, *lib, *.bpl into CBuilder folders
3. Added DclTeePro7C6.bpl

Now it seems to compile and run fine.

Questions:
1. Is DclTeePro7C6.bpl rigth choice? There is also DclTeeProStd7C6.bpl and DclTeeStd7C6.bpl.
2. Do you plan to fix the setup? TeeChart6 setup didn't worked too you promissed to fix it in the next version

Hi.

DclTeeProStd7C6.bpl and DclTeeStd7C6.bpl

These are the BCB6 Standard packages - install them only if you're using BCB Standard. If you're using BCB6 Professional or Enterprise version, install The DclTeePro7C6.bpl package.

Do you plan to fix the setup?

Yes, sure. For v7 we did several changes in the installer, but apprently there are still some problems.
