TreeMaps?? - A Future upgrade...

I was wondering if you are considering adding TreeMaps to your component suite?

This graph type is similar to your Tag Cloud Series

It can be a very useful way of showing relative sizes for a hierarchial data set.

Yes, other users already requested TreeMaps and it's a high priority item on our wish-list to be considered for inclusion in future releases.

Hello Narcis

This is an area that I might be interested in participating in. I have a tree based app that would be a perfect testing platform for a TreeMap.

Do you have a road plan for when this might be included? Are we looking at a number of months - or are we talking a year or more?

Hello,

We can't give a definite timescale for Treemap yet. It'd be longer term for sure as no preparatory work has yet been done to evaluate grade-of-difficulty and time resources required. We'll try to fit in the planning part over the coming weeks, to be at least clearer on feasibility.
