Problem installing on 64-bit VS2008

I have Visual Studio 2008 running on Vista Intel 64-bit. I've tried every variation of installing NET v3 on it. At end of installation I get errors "ToolBox Editor 2008 has stopped working", then "TeeGofer Help 2 Registration Utility has stopped working", then "An Unhandled Exception (System.NullReferenceException) occurred in ToolBo~1.exe [1144]--then it's out of error messages and seems to finish.

However, TeeChart is not in the ToolBox. I add a tab and click on "Add Items" and Visual Studio just disappears, it quits.

I try to run TeeRegV3.exe (like you're supposed to do if you're running 64-bit) and enter License Number and Password but get error message "Error setting registry value."

Does TeeChart v3 .NET run on Vista Intel 64-bit?

Help! Thanks, Don

Hi Don,

Yes, TeeChart for .NET v3 works fine in Vista 64-bit.

This is a known problem VS2008 issue. You could try the solutions suggested here:

http://www.teechart.net/support/viewtopic.php?t=9082

If this doesn't help you can try manually adding TeeChart.dll reference to your project and manually add licenses.licx as described in tutorial 17 (available at TeeChart's program group).

If this doesn't help don't hesitate to let us know.
