With the "updated" installation downloading the required libraries, it now takes TChart a really long time to install--longer than any other 3rd party library I have (and I have quite a few). This is especially true when the internet is slow.
I really hope you go back to the prior installation method--it made for a large one time download but was significantly faster.

First note the number of IDEs and the number of platforms in each IDE increased with the years directly affecting the size of the installations, and thus the installers. It is not the same to distribute the units for win32, than the units for win32, win64, android, ios and osx.
For reference see the sizes of the folders in TeeChart Pro VCL/FMX v2018.25:
- Delphi25.android: 349MB
- Delphi25.win64: 316MB
- Delphi25.iOSDevice64: 244MB
- Delphi25.iOSDevice: 238MB
- Delphi25.iOSDevice64: 244MB
- Delphi25.win32: 171MB
- Delphi25.iossimulator: 85MB
- Delphi25.osx32: 77MB
On 2015 we changed the install system from "Wise Installer" to "Install Builder". We wanted to offer a cross platform installer for TeeChart .NET and we took advantage of that movement for TeeChart VCL.
Since then, we provide a single installer for all the IDEs supported by TeeChart VCL/FMX. Well, actually one for each "flavour": Pro, Standard, Source and Source Standard. Before that, we were maintaining these installers for each IDE supported.
So, now it's easier for us to maintain the installers and the lists of downloads in the client page is simplified which makes life easier both for us and customers.
It would be interesting to know what part of the installation do you feel is so slow. Is it the download? Is the extraction of the packages?
Could you please try to measure the slow part?
Note we provide a link to a Full/NoDownload installer under demand, which includes the packages for all the IDEs so it doesn't download them under demand. However, it is a quite big download (1.72GB at v2018.25).
