Design time installation clarification

I will have a few questions and will put one question per topic.

In your web tutorial, to get the design time to work (the run time license is installed and working) this is stated:

How to enable the TeeGrid.licenses file for designtime licensing

Use the environment variable, LICENSE_PATH, set to the folder path to the teegrid.licenses file to enable the TeeGrid for .NET license at designtime.


Where/what environment variable? A system environment variable or a Visual Studio Environment variable? If Visual Studio, I'm using Visual Studio 2019. Where is this declared/setup? I have tried it with a system environment variable, and the design time is not working. Is there a particular location the license file is supposed to exist?

There's a gif here which was produced for Steema's TeeChart product, but the technique is identical for TeeGrid.
