We are using TeeChart7.ocx (ActiveX) component. When the chart is created, are there any temporary files being written out? Or is anything being written out to the registry?

Recently, we noticed a peculiar problem: When logged in as a regular user, a crash occurs when the chart is being created (displayed within a Property Sheet). After that, we log in as adiministrator, we are fine, don't see the crash. Logout and log back in as a regular user and we seem to be fine after that.

It appears as if some temporary file is being created or accessed or something to do with persmissions.

This problem only happens on some machines, not all.

Any ideas?

Is the application an ASP or a Win32 application?
Can you reproduce the problem with the features demo application?

It is a Win32 application. It only happens on some of the machines, not all.

And is the problem reproducible with the features demo in these machines?

We dont' have the features demo installed on the machines with the problem (they are used for training classes). I'll try to see if we can get that done.
