Hi,
We develop a web site with ActiveX V.2010. Because some of the client can't install ocx(cab) file by browser (IE automatically. We know this problem is due to the security setup of IE, but our customer can't accept this reason! They ask us to provide a simpler method to install the necessary component in client's pc (by a small .exe or .bat). So, we try to use the regsvr32 command to install the ocx file manually, but the IE seems can not be aware of the existence of the dll (the requirement of download/install the ActiveX component message still appears). Is it possible to install the ocx manually and not by the IE ? (We believe it is possible, because the developer PC,that TeeChart ActiveX 2010 is installed, can browse the web site without installing the ocx. ) Or it must modify the register configuration also?
Thanks!
Can I install .ocx file manually (not by web browser)

Hi Chung,
I'd suggest you to take a look at the tutorial "9 - Internet applications" and "17 - TeeChart runtime installation requirements".
If you know another way to run an ActiveX control in the client browser it should be possible also with TeeChart ActiveX.
Maybe this could be an alternative:
