Windows Vista compatibility

Hello,

Is TeeChart 7.0.0.5 compatible with the upcoming Windows Vista? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Hi Alex,

I'm afraid it doesn't work properly. We need to do some further tests. I'll get back to you when we have some news.

Hello TTL,

We have done some tests with latest Windows Vista and TeeChart Pro ActiveX builds available. We found that it generally works but there seems to be a problem with surface type series. We will be doing further investigation on that.

Hello TTL,

I tested again using v7.0.0.6 installer and surface series worked fine. However, it seems that the installer can't do everything it should as creating the start menu program group or database connections for the database charts demos.

What's the current status?
Is Vista fully supported now?
Also for 64-bit systems ?

Hi Ronald,

for the moment Vista still not supported, we'll prepare a version compatible when the latest Vista version will be out.

Yes, TeeChart can work with 64 bit system but using the 32 bit "mode" option.
